APA – A Brief History

In 1988 Asia Pacific Aerospace formed a joint venture with Masling Industries. 
In 1993 Masling Industries interest was bought out by APA. 
Between 1994 and 2003 APA became a qualified Rolls-Royce Authorised Maintenance Centre and Australian Defence Force contractor, specialising in Rolls-Royce 250 Series engines.  
APA relocated in 2000 to purpose built A$3million facilities at Pinkenba, Queensland, adjacent to the Brisbane International Airport. 
In 2002 we were awarded the contract for Deeper Maintenance and System Support of the General Electric T700 Series engines by Australian Defence Material Organisation (DMO). 
2003 saw the Test Cell for GE T700 correlated to GE’s standards in record time of 10 Days. 
In 2009 the Defence contact was awarded for RR 250 Support Service. 
APA was awarded Rolls-Royce AMROC in 2010.
2016 saw APA awarded the USN FMS contract in support of MH-60R T700-401C for the Australian Navy.
2017 we were awarded the GE MRO
